A little bird in the snow, so frail,
A brave heart, that can hardly prevail,
Against the bitter cold, it stands,
A small wonder, in winter lands.
Its feathers ruffled, but still so bright,
A pop of color, in a world of white,
Its wings tucked in, to keep it warm,
A tiny warrior, in winter's storm.
The snowflakes dance, around its head,
As it pecks at the ground, for a crumb of bread,
A creature so small, but with such great heart,
A symbol of hope, in a world torn apart.
The snowdrifts rise, like mountains so high,
As the little bird, struggles to fly,
But it keeps on going, with a strength so true,
A reminder to us all, of what we can do.
A little bird in the snow, so free,
A wonder of nature, for all to see,
A source of joy, in a season so cold,
A symbol of hope, that's worth more than gold.
