Spring

Spring sun rays, a warming touch,

Melting snow, revealing much,

Of nature's beauty, long concealed,

A world awakening, now revealed.

A splash of gold, amidst the green,

A warm embrace, like an old friend seen,

The sun's soft touch, a gentle caress,

A blessing of warmth, to ease the stress.

The petals bloom, beneath the light,

A canvas of colors, oh so bright,

The world awakens, with a joyous sound,

A symphony of life, that can be found.

The air so fresh, so sweet and new,

A world reborn, for me and you,

A time of hope, of love and cheer,

Spring sun rays, a time to revere.

A blessing of light, to ease the night,

A warmth that fills, with all its might,

The world transformed, in springtime's glow,

A beauty to cherish, as we watch it grow.

A little bird in the snow

A little bird in the snow, so frail,

A brave heart, that can hardly prevail,

Against the bitter cold, it stands,

A small wonder, in winter lands.

Its feathers ruffled, but still so bright,

A pop of color, in a world of white,

Its wings tucked in, to keep it warm,

A tiny warrior, in winter's storm.

The snowflakes dance, around its head,

As it pecks at the ground, for a crumb of bread,

A creature so small, but with such great heart,

A symbol of hope, in a world torn apart.

The snowdrifts rise, like mountains so high,

As the little bird, struggles to fly,

But it keeps on going, with a strength so true,

A reminder to us all, of what we can do.

A little bird in the snow, so free,

A wonder of nature, for all to see,

A source of joy, in a season so cold,

A symbol of hope, that's worth more than gold.

Frozen in time

A river once flowed, so fast and free,

Now frozen in time, as far as I can see,

Its ripples and waves, have come to a halt,

As winter's icy grip, has made its assault.

The water still moves, but under a sheet,

Of ice that's so thick, it's hard to defeat,

A surface so smooth, like a mirror in glass,

Reflecting the beauty, that winter does pass.

The snow-covered banks, like a blanket so white,

A contrast so pure, to the river's dark might,

The trees all around, in winter's embrace,

A frozen world, with its own unique grace.

The air is so crisp, with a bite so cold,

A feeling so fresh, that's hard to withhold,

The sun on the ice, with a dazzling glow,

A sight so surreal, it's hard to let go.

The frozen river, a wonder to see,

A scene so majestic, it sets our souls free,

A moment in time, that nature does bring,

A gift to us all, in winter's icy sting.

Cold evenings

Cold evenings, so still and serene,

A peacefulness, that can hardly be seen,

The air is crisp, with a chilly touch,

As the day fades away, and the night takes much.

The stars twinkle, in a frosty sky,

As the moon shines, with a silvery eye,

The world is quiet, with a whisper so low,

As we cozy up, and watch the snow.

The fire crackles, with a warm embrace,

As we sip on tea, and enjoy this space,

The blankets wrap us, in a snug delight,

As we cuddle up, and forget the night.

The sound of silence, a beautiful song,

As we listen intently, to where it belongs,

The trees sway, with a gentle sigh,

As we breathe in deep, and let out a cry.

The cold evenings, a time to reflect,

On life's many wonders, and to introspect,

A moment to cherish, and hold so dear,

As we embrace the chill, with a joyous cheer.

Spring rainy days

Spring rainy days, oh how they bring,

A refreshing scent, and a lively zing,

The world awakens, from winter's hold,

And nature's beauty, we can behold.

The raindrops fall, like a soothing sound,

As they nourish the earth, and the plants around,

The trees sway gently, in the cool breeze,

And the flowers bloom, in a lovely tease.

The air is fresh, with a misty feel,

As we walk along, with a spring in our heel,

The rain-washed world, a canvas so bright,

With colors so vivid, and a magical light.

The birds sing, a melodious tune,

As they dance in the rain, and welcome the monsoon,

The earthy smell, a fragrance so rare,

As we breathe it in, and revel in the air.

The rain brings life, to all it touches,

From the smallest bug, to the tallest of bushes,

It cleanses the world, and makes it anew,

And fills our hearts, with a sense of renew.

Spring rainy days, a blessing from above,

A reminder of hope, and of nature's love,

A time to reflect, and to appreciate,

The wonders of life, in every state.

Saturday in spring

Saturday in spring, oh what a delight,

The world awakens from its winter night,

The birds sing sweetly, as the sun shines bright,

And all around us, there's a wondrous sight.

The flowers bloom, in colors so bold,

The air is fresh, and not too cold,

We shed our coats, and wear clothes so light,

As we bask in the glory of the season's might.

The grass is green, and soft to the touch,

As we lay down, and gaze at the sky so much,

The clouds float by, like dreams on high,

As we take in the beauty, with a contented sigh.

The bees buzz by, from flower to flower,

As they gather nectar, with their power,

And we watch in awe, at the work they do,

In harmony with nature, so pure and true.

We take a walk, along the path,

And feel the breeze, as it makes us laugh,

We stop to smell, the fragrance of the blooms,

And listen to the whispers, of the trees and their tunes.

Saturday in spring, oh how we love thee,

For you bring us joy, and make us see,

The wonders of nature, in all their glory,

And fill our hearts, with a wondrous story.

A lost seagull

A lost seagull, with wings so strong,

Flew over the sea, all day long,

With every flap, it soared up high,

And watched as the waves danced and sighed.

But as the sun began to set,

The seagull found itself in a fret,

For it had strayed too far from shore,

And now it couldn't fly no more.

Its wings were tired, its eyes were dim,

And in the darkness, it couldn't skim,

The waves that once had brought it joy,

Now seemed like a trap, a cold decoy.

The seagull cried out, with all its might,

Hoping to find a glimmer of light,

But all it heard, was the sound of waves,

And the echo of its own heart, in a daze.

For hours it flew, through the night,

Lost in the darkness, out of sight,

But just as it thought, it would never see,

The light of day, it heard a plea.

A ship in the distance, with lights so bright,

Had heard the seagull's mournful plight,

And sailed towards it, with open arms,

To rescue the bird, from all its harms.

And so the seagull, with wings so strong,

Was saved from a fate, so very wrong,

And as it flew, towards the shore,

It knew that it would fly once more.

For though it had been lost, for a while,

Its spirit was strong, and its heart, a smile,

And in the end, it found its way,

Back to the sea, where it would stay.
